Linda Grace (Hunt) Thomas --62, A resident of Somerville, born in New Britain, CT on September 19, 1947, passed away September 10, 2010.

Linda is survived by her 20-year companion Walter J. Hawe III, her daughter Stacie Lea Greenland and son-in-law Kimon Francis Greenland. Linda is also survived by her stepchildren Joseph Hawe and his wife Lori, Laurieann Hawe and Walter J. Hawe IV. Linda was the sister of Carol Peterson, Janet Golan and David Hunt. Linda was the aunt of Ann Marie, Mikalyn, Tommy and Andrea and the dear nana of Joseph, Christopher, Connor and Evan Hawe.

Linda attended New Britain High School, graduated in 1965 and Central CT State University in New Britain, CT. Linda worked at the Firemans Fund Insurance and Electric Insurance Company. Linda loved gardening, cooking the New England Patriots, Cape Cod and was an avid fisherman.

A memorial wake will be held at the George L. Doherty Funeral Home, 855 Broadway (Powder House Sq.) in Somerville, Saturday, September 18, 2010, from 2-5 p.m. Interment is private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Lindas memory to the charity of your choice.
